Minecraft was launched first on May 2009 as an alpha version for PC, while its fully updated version was released in November 2011 and in the same month for smartphones. It is currently available for all platforms of smartphones except Blackberry. And in the same year the company who developed this game was purchased by Microsoft in 2.5 billion dollars.
Minecraft includes constructing buildings with the help of cubes. Basically there is no mission or goal included in the game and player can play it according to their choice. This game has four dedicated modes that can be termed as stages, these modes are Survival mode, Creative mode, Adventure mode and the last one is Spectator mode. Main motive in this game is to break a block and construct another one by placing it on the right place. On the startup you will need to select a surface on which you want to proceed in the game, there you will get several cubes of various materials like water, dirt, tress and many more.
